Account & Data Deletion

PetBuddy has no traditional sign-up — your identity is your Cardano wallet, which you control. There is no off-chain account database. Here’s how to remove your data.

1. Remove this app’s data from your device

Tap the button below (or, in the app, go to Settings → Account → Delete) to disconnect your wallet and erase all PetBuddy data stored locally on this device — the connected address, preferences, cached state, and notification token.

2. Request deletion of anything we hold off-chain

We don’t keep an account profile database, so there is normally nothing server-side to delete. To be certain, email privacy@petbuddyswap.com from any address (no login required) and we will delete any off-chain data tied to your wallet address within 30 days and confirm by reply.

What cannot be deleted

The following live on the public Cardano blockchain and are permanent — not under our control:

Transactions you submitted
NFTs / collectibles you minted
On-chain datums (e.g. profile or campaign state)
Media already pinned to IPFS

These remain publicly visible on-chain even after you delete the app and your local data.
