Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Wallet public address — only when you choose to connect a Cardano wallet. Used to show your collectibles and to build transactions you approve. We never receive your private keys or seed phrase.
• AI image inputs — if you use AI image generation, the photo and text prompt you submit are sent to our AI provider (see “Third parties”). We do not store them after generation.
• Device & log data — standard technical data (IP, device/OS, error logs) needed to serve the app and diagnose problems.
• On-device preferences — settings (e.g. theme, last-connected wallet, push token) stored locally on your device.

We do not run analytics, advertising, or cross-app tracking SDKs, and we do not maintain an off-chain account database of users.

Third parties we share data with

• Google Gemini (AI image generation) — receives the image and prompt you submit, to generate the result. Used only for that request.
• Blockfrost — a Cardano data + IPFS provider used to read public chain data and pin/serve media.
• Your Cardano wallet (e.g. Eternl) — a non-custodial app you control; it signs transactions. We never see its keys.

Blockchain data is public and permanent

Cardano transactions, minted NFTs, on-chain datums, and IPFS-pinned media are public and permanent by design. They are not controlled by us and cannot be deleted, including by us, after they are submitted.

Retention & deletion

Because we keep no off-chain account database, there is little to retain. Device data and logs are transient. To remove the app’s local data and request deletion of anything we may hold, see our Account & Data Deletion page.

Children

PetBuddy is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your region).
